Job Title: Senior Technical Writer

Description: Oracle India has an opening for a senior technical writer to create documentation for products that belong to the Oracle Fusion Middleware stack.
Responsibilities:
- Create product documentation, including online help, for a range of audience groups (system administrators, application developers, and business users)
- Learn about the product and technology, by installing and using products, interacting with a global team of experienced software developers, QA engineers, and product managers, and by reading technical specifications
- Adhere to an established documentation process that involves stringent quality reviews and accessibility checks
Required skills:
+ Excellent communication skills — written and verbal
+ Willingness and ability to learn about new products and technology
+ Strong customer orientation
+ Ability to learn and adapt to a complex production process
+ Ability to quickly learn and use new publishing tools
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Additional skills (desirable):
+ Certification in Technical Writing
+ Experience in using Structured FrameMaker
+ Experience in using online help systems
+ Knowledge of middleware concepts and products
Experience: 4 to 6 years writing technical documentation for software products
Education: Graduate in Mass Communication/Computer Science or related disciplines
